New European Legislation

It is envisaged that by 19th July 2006, full training of users will be required on all kinds of access equipment. The current June 2001 directive makes clear the safety requirements particularly for scaffolding or mobile elevated work platforms. The new directive is proposed to be more far reaching and will cover the use of many industries, including construction and agriculture, where work at any height is a safety issue.
